Wedding Tips Fiji

Come to Fiji and celebrate your most important day of your life with really friendly people. Whether a traditional Fijian wedding or a church marriage dressed all in white - the Fiji islands are the ideal place to let the enchantment of a South Seas wedding become real.

Many resorts offer you the possibility to marry in the traditional Fijian style. In Fijian Tapa- dresses, especially made for you and delightful Salusalus made from blossoms you will say „I will“ to the sound of the drums and the chant of a Fijian choir.

Or do you prefer a dream wedding in white? You can get married both churchly and as a civil marriage as soon as you have personally applied for your wedding on-site.

You find the necessary register offices in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka, Labasa and Savusavu.

The costs are average and the bureaucracy small. Normally your marriage licence is requested and issued on the same weekday.

As documents are to be shown the passport, birth certificate and an up-to-date registration card, the latter to verify that you are still unmarried. A divorce certificate is needed in case you are divorced.

All documents, except passport must be present as a copy in English and certified. Your resort on Fiji will be pleased to lend you their support for the organization and planning of your wedding.
