Wedding Tips Maldives
Officially it is not possible to marry here because the Maldives are a Muslim country.
But some resorts offer you the possibility for a wedding ceremony without a official marriage certificate.
Tip: Get officially married at home. You can come to this appointment with jeans and t-shirt. On the Maldives you will breathe „I will“ then in a free wedding ceremony. Your wedding is what you feel as your wedding. Then you can get married by anyone - the captain of a yacht on a romantic voyage, the free theologian at a paradise beach or the hotel manager in a small chapel with sea view.
