The culmination of a perfect wedding dress is the train. Different to the neckline or the sleeves is the train not an essential part of the dress. The type of the wedding should have a big influence on your decision which train you choose. The length of your train should harmonize with the scale of your wedding. A cathedral rain at a summer wedding at the beach is e.g. an absolute no- go.

Brush

The brush is the shortest of all trains. It hardly touches the ground but adds a modest amount of volume to the backside of your dress. The brush train is the most versatile train.

Court

The court train is a little longer as the brush and could be used for ceremonies at the beach or open air.

Chapel

The chapel train is the happy medium between the simple brush and the traditional cathedral. It is appropriate for all wedding ceremonies.

Cathedral

If you want to catch the attention on you then the cathedral is the right choice for a very traditional bride. You will need support with this train so that the train can show its full magnificence during the ceremony and does not disturb you. The cathedral train is almost only used at church weddings.

Royal

The one who wants a really grand entrance can choose the royal train. This train spans the alley while you step forward to the altar. With a train of this size you need help to be sure that the train is exactly where it has to be. This kind of train is mainly used at royal and very ostentatious weddings. If you decide for a royal train you should make sure that the rest of your ceremony and festivity does not seem pale.
