Here's everything you need to know about the invitation:
The formation of the invitation for the wedding plays an important role in the considerations and preparations and you should schedule enough time for it.
The invitation is after all the first thing that your guests hold in their hands and it should correspond the style of the family and the festivity. Furthermore should the characteristics of the card seem like a central theme of the whole wedding decoration. Text the invitation in a natural, individual and happy style and always fill in the name of the guest by hand. In case you have planned a brunch on the next day a dinner ahead of the wedding you should put a separate invitation to it!
The dispatch of the invitations should take place at least ca 3 month the latest 6 weeks ahead of the wedding.
Every guest is happy about private mail in their mailbox – the invitation has as well a leaflet function.
The invitation should contain the following items:
- the event/ invitation to the marriage
- names of the bridal couple (bride left & groom right)
- day and time of the marriage
- date for the reply of the guests
- hint for your wishes for presents
Maybe specials like e.g. topography & site plan, hotel of the region, book hotel contingents or favoured clothing should be as well mentioned!
